Hi, I want to learn about the real legal difference between condominiums and townhouses. I understand condos is a tenants in common contract where the person buying a condo is actually entering into and become part of an existing company. With the condo you own the space inside your exterior walls but you don’t own the land it sits on. However, I understand with the townhouse that you actually own the structure and the land it sits on even though you are still part of an HOA it won’t be an HOA as big or as involved as the condo… Read more »
