This is the highest amount TREPAC has ever raised in a single year, and it’s all because of you.

Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to the Texas Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC) and the Texas Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Action Committee (TAR FedPAC)—which makes contributions to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC)—are voluntary and may be used for political purposes. The amount indicated is merely a guideline, and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal, and the National Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, and its local associations will not favor or disadvantage anyone because of the amount contributed. Until the RPAC annual goal is met, 70% of an individual’s contribution goes to TREPAC and may be used to support state and local candidates; the remaining 30% is sent to TAR FedPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116. (Exception: 100% of an individual’s contribution goes to TREPAC if the individual is an employee of an affiliate member of Texas REALTORS®.) After the RPAC annual goal is met, 100% of an individual’s contribution goes to TREPAC and may be used to support state and local candidates. TREPAC is a non partisan organization. We do not support a specific party. We support those who support our business and individual property rights in the state of Texas. Statistically speaking those politicians that we do support are 52% Republican and 48% Democrat.
I think TREPAC would have greater participation if it didn’t skew so far to the right– there are plenty of more progressive realtors, including myself, who aren’t excited about supporting right wing candidates.
Are you kidding? Almost all objective reporting lists TREPAC as center to center-left leaning, even most progressives would at worst say it is “center right”. No large group of realtors WILL EVER support “progressives” because that term has morphed into meaning socialism which by definition does not respect private property rights. How can you work as a realtor and sell commercial or industrial real estate to a company when you are for seizing the means of productions (which includes that very building you just sold) from your own clients?
