Whether hosting an open house, showing a client a property, or conducting day-to-day business, staying safe on the job is paramount. Here are some safety products and apps you can utilize to keep you safe next time you’re conducting business:

  • InstaAlert is a device that sends emergency texts and emails with contact info and GPS to an unlimited number of contacts without needing to use your phone. You can automate alerts for failed check-ins and detection of falls, accidents, and assaults. It is compatible with iOS and Android.
  • Katana Safety is your personal security system. It can trigger an audible alarm or enable a discreet silent panic button. When alerted, a 24/7 response center is notified and contacts emergency services with your GPS location.
  • PET (Personal Emergency Transmitter) sends information including your GPS location via text message to up to 30 contacts, including 911. Location updates are sent for every 30 feet you move.
  • Forewarn can verify a prospect’s identity and the potential risks prior to meeting them face-to-face. With only a name or phone number, you can confirm someone’s identity, criminal records, property records, and more to insure a safe and productive interaction.
  • Protect gives you reassurance when working a showing or open house alone. You can add your office manager, team members, and other friends or family as emergency contacts and it will notify them when you have not checked in at the pre-scheduled time or you indicate you are in an emergency situation.
