Led by a “Key Contact” team leader, Legislative Contact Teams (LCTs) are an important extension of the association’s lobbying effort by providing lawmakers the perspective from back home.
LCTs are vital to the success of the association’s political and legislative advocacy. There are 181 contact teams—one for each Texas lawmaker. The teams, composed of Texas REALTORS® from the lawmakers’ home districts, are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with their designated legislators and their staff.
This rewarding year-round program operates throughout legislative sessions and election seasons—and LCTs and Key Contacts play an integral role!
