Brokers often face complicated property tax issues when helping clients buy and sell rural land. This course will focus on strategies to help buyers and sellers of rural land overcome impediments to the sale of a property such as lack of an open space valuation, conversion to wildlife management use valuation, and minimum acreage issues. Cassie Gresham, an attorney with Braun & Gresham, has worked with hundreds of landowners and brokers to help them address property tax issues and qualify for open-space valuations on their properties.
